While the Achacha has moved off Australian shores into Europe for a few years now (found for a number of years in the Harrod’s food court), it only recently became a feature of Marks & Spencer’s fresh produce campaign to introduce new fruit to the general public.
The Achacha has been featured on the BBC1’s acclaimed ‘The One Show’, introduced by Jay Rayner. It was later splashed across a number of popular papers, including The Telegraph (see article here). The Telegraph kicks up a fuss about superfruits – let us note that we’ve always thought the Achacha to be a ‘super delicious fruit’, we’ve never claimed the Achacha to be a ‘super-hero’. So enjoy the Achacha however you like it: with your mouth, with your palette or with your imagination!!
